Meeting Information

The Council meets twice during each year for a Winter Meeting and a Summer Meeting.

Winter Meeting: Held in late January, the Winter Meeting includes oral reports from researchers on their respective projects. Council members approve the annual budget for the year, allocating funds toward specific research projects.

Summer Meeting: The mid-year meeting is held in one of the U.S. hop growing regions on a rotating basis. The agenda includes farm tours of the hop growing region which provides members an opportunity to evaluate the upcoming crop. Researchers present project updates and submit project proposals for funding consideration.

Organizations interested in becoming potential members of the council are invited to attend a meeting to see if HRC is an organization they would like to join. Please contact us if you are interested in attending either the winter or summer meeting as a potential new member.
